After the vote, the Minister of Education, Aurora Vergara, highlighted precisely that consensus that this reform of the Government of Gustavo Petro has achieved, and which, unlike the other three, has so far had a quick vote.

According to Vergara, “this sends a very positive message to the country from a commission and a group of representatives who are reflecting on the importance of quality and relevant education.”

For the minister, this initiative seeks to organize the system and helps to guarantee that the investment made in education enables a clear vision of how it is training this new generation.
