The senator of the National Party, Sebastián Da Silva, spoke about the complaint against the senator of the Frente Amplio, Gustavo Olmos, whom he described as a “green old man”, and hinted that he had already heard rumors about it in Parliament.

For the right-wing legislator, this case is “regrettable,” although it is in the complaint stage, and added that “what needs to be done is to eliminate these types of cases because if not we will all end up measured by the same yardstick.”
“Yesterday it was (Gustavo) Penadés, we removed it, today let it be Olmos and let us remove it quickly,” he added.
Da Silva claimed to know things: according to him, in the Legislative Palace “everyone knows the terrible way in which (Olmos) acted with a girl from the interior of the country.” Although he was born in Montevideo, the complainant grew up in Colonia. “Those softened old men have to get what they deserve.“said the nationalist senator.
“We have to stop with this. When we had to act with an infinitely more serious issue – because we are not going to compare one thing with the other – as was the Penadés case, we did it. The Front too, stop saying ‘gre gre’. There are no ones here in the Palace who do not know about the unfortunate episodes of this dirty old man,” he added.
