Destiny 2 Season of the Wish Faces Criticism and Changes

Just a few days ago, Bungie kicked off Destiny 2’s latest (and final) season, D348490a0771d4da2a69bc97e41643747, which is known as D35e7bd7279914f0cb43c5f9a37fd7958. The launch also included The Witcher collaboration, which drew criticism for its price and released a bunch of new playable content that didn’t seem to be well received by fans, as well as a Starter Pack that was slammed by fans almost as soon as it was announced.

Now, Bungie has addressed various criticisms and announced that D0119b02b0ce94526a7e8221adf7a4258 has been discontinued. Bungie notes that this package was “Not something that brings happiness,” which is why it has been removed from the store. The developer added, “Before chasing these exotic weapons, cosmetics, and upgrade materials, new players should dive into the rest of Destiny 2.”

In addition to discontinuing the criticized package, Bungie also revealed that taking fans to the blind shaft didn’t quite work out, and players will only be asked to return to the event again during the sixth week of the season. The shard economy in the new The Coil and Riven’s Lair events is being adjusted, as are the bugs that prevent loot from being rewarded. PvP issues, such as fans wanting to play Control instead of Checkmate Control due to differences in time-to-kill values, as well as spawning issues on some maps, will be resolved in the near future. Finally, Bungie teased the new Rocket Pistol, which will be fired in new dungeons when it debuts tomorrow.

It seems that Destiny 2’s Season of the Wish has faced its share of challenges and criticism, but Bungie is actively making changes to address fan concerns. Are you currently playing Season of the Wish, and what are your thoughts on it? Let us know!
