On the seventh day of this truce concluded between Israel and Hamas, eight new Israeli hostages were released by the Islamist movement. This seventh group of hostages is once again composed only of women and young boys.

The first two women were released at the end of the afternoon. They are the Franco-Israeli Mia Schem (21 years old), kidnapped by terrorists on the site of the “Tribe of Nova” festival, and Amit Soussana (40 years old), originally from the kibbutz of Kfar Aza where she had been removed.

In the evening, the terrorists also released six other hostages. They are Nili Margalit (41 years old), Sapir Cohen (29 years old), Shani Goren (29 years old), Ilana Gritzewsky (30 years old), Bilal Alziadana (18 years old) and Aisha Alziadana (17 years old).

Several dual nationalities

Among these hostages are several dual nationals according to the spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majed al-Ansari: one Mexican, one Russian and one Uruguayan.

While Hamas had initially indicated that it would release ten hostages on Thursday, eight people ultimately left the hell of Gaza. Dr. Majed al-Ansari explained that the two Israeli-Russian women released on Wednesday were in fact on the next day’s list.
