The Alzheimer Café in Woudenberg will be closing out the year with a special event on December 13. The evening will feature a small Christmas concert organized by the students of the Woudenberg music school. Under the guidance of violin teacher Carla van der Heijden, the students will perform well-known Christmas songs for the visitors.
In addition to the musical entertainment, there will be coffee, tea, and sweets provided by Ritmeester Pastry Bakery, including the famous Wombarg buns. Visitors will also have the opportunity to pick up a copy of the booklet “Speaking about forgetting,” which is designed for individuals with (incipient) dementia and their loved ones to complete together. The completed booklet can help facilitate important conversations and decision-making for the future.
The event will take place at the Cultuurhuis Woudenberg, located at Dorpsstraat 40, 3931 EH Woudenberg. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the program will begin at 7:30 PM, concluding at 9:00 PM. Admission is free and no registration is required.
