Transport of manganese: Comilog acquires a floating station “Le Nord Gabon”

DIG/ In order to increase its performance in terms of manganese loading, the Ogooué Mining Company (Comilog) has just acquired a floating transfer station (FTS): Le Nord Gabon.

The equipment was received on November 21, 2023 at the New Owendo International Port (NOIP) in the presence of the Merchant Navy authorities, those of the port and managers of the Norden company, as well as the Managing Director of Comilog.

Positioned off the coast of Libreville, this boat resembles a deep water port.

It will allow Comilog to carry out, in a more efficient manner, classic transshipment activities to Capesizes; large ships with a capacity of 200,000 tonnes.
