Title: 49ers’ Dre Greenlaw, Eagles Security Chief Ejected from Fiery Matchup

In a fiery showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles, tensions boiled over off the field as well. Star 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw and Eagles chief security officer Dom DiSandro were both ejected from Sunday’s Week 13 clash at Lincoln Financial Field in the third quarter after an altercation on the Philadelphia sideline.

The altercation occurred after Greenlaw was called for unnecessary roughness for slamming Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith to the ground near the sideline. DiSandro took exception to the tackle, leading to a heated argument between the two.

The security chief received a standing ovation from Eagles fans as he left the field, adding to the already charged atmosphere of the game.

This wasn’t the first time Greenlaw had received an unnecessary roughness penalty this season, as he was ejected for a hit on Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert earlier in the NFL season.

Despite the off-field drama, the 49ers were able to maintain their lead, responding to the Eagles’ score with a 48-yard touchdown pass from Brock Purdy to wideout Deebo Samuel, extending their lead to 27-13.

The tension and drama only added to the excitement of the game for fans of both teams, making the fiery matchup one to remember.
