MADRID, 4 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Russian Armed Forces launched at least 23 drones from the Crimean peninsula this Monday morning, on a night in which anti-aircraft alerts sounded in nine Ukrainian regions, according to a report from the Ukrainian Air Force.
The authorities have assured that they were ‘Shahed’ type unmanned aircraft. In the interception work, Ukraine has managed to shoot down 18 of these drones, as well as a missile, although there is no evidence of significant personal or material damage.
These types of devices have been key in the military offensive that Russia began on Ukraine in February 2022, to the extent that kamikaze drones have become a recurring tool to attack different types of targets, including civilians. kyiv accuses Moscow of counting on help from Tehran for this technology.
