Residents had already warned about the risk of cattle running loose in the region

Another motorcyclist was the victim of a collision with animals on the road. Marcelo dos Santos Cordeiro, 27 years old, died after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a loose cow on the road that leads to Capão Bonito, in Sidrolândia, 70 km from Campo Grande.
The accident occurred late in the afternoon and Marcelo was rescued by a woman who was passing by at the time. He was taken to the UPA (Emergency Care Unit) and then to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to the local website, Babalizando MS, the tragedy was announced. Residents of the region had already warned the cattle owner about the risk of an accident. “I’ve been calling for hours asking to take these cattle off the road that would cause an accident. They grabbed this calf and the guy is there, disoriented”, she shows when making a video shortly after Marcelo’s accident.
