New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the media on the first day of the winter session of Parliament, stating that the BJP has proven that the anti-government wave can be overcome through people’s welfare activities. He also advised the Congress not to express their disappointment of electoral defeat in three states in Parliament.

Modi urged the opposition to change its approach and put aside confrontational attitudes for the benefit of the country. He also emphasized the need for constructive contributions from the opposition to implement development goals in the country.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of good governance aimed at public welfare and stated that it is crucial to learn from failure and move forward positively.

In other news, the ethics committee report against Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra is likely to be considered in the Lok Sabha today. Additionally, the suspension of Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha has been lifted, after he approached the court demanding the withdrawal of the suspension.

The Lok Sabha session was disrupted in the morning by a one-man protest by BSP MP Danish Ali against the lack of action against BJP member Ramesh Biduri’s abusive speech, resulting in the meeting being adjourned till 12 o’clock. However, both the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha managed to pass important bills on the first day of the winter session.
