Hyundai Motor India Set to Launch New Creta Facelift SUV in January
Hyundai Motor India is gearing up to launch the new Creta facelift SUV in January with a host of exciting features. The new model is set to come with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that delivers an impressive 160hp, providing a powerful and dynamic driving experience.
In addition to the turbo petrol engine, the Creta facelift will offer a total of three engine options, including a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel, both of which continue to churn out 115 hp.
The 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift boasts a completely revamped front end, featuring modern H-shaped LED running lights and new projector LED headlights. The exterior also includes updated alloy wheels and modified rear bumper and tail lights for a fresh and modern look.
Inside, the dashboard is expected to undergo minor styling changes and will offer various connectivity options. The advanced touchscreen infotainment system will come equipped with features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and automatic AC control.
On the safety front, the new Creta SUV is set to feature the ADAS safety suite, including basic 6 airbags, vehicle stability control, electronic stability control, and hill assist control.
The Creta will be powered by a 1.5 liter petrol engine producing 115 hp and 143.8 Nm of torque, as well as a 1.5 liter diesel engine producing 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Additionally, the 1.5-litre GDI turbo petrol engine will churn out a maximum horsepower of 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque, available with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual clutch auto gearbox.
The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift SUV is set to go on sale on January 16, with an expected starting price of Rs 11 lakh. Furthermore, the Creta Electric model is anticipated to be available by the end of 2024.
The new Creta will be up against competitors such as the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushack, Volkswagen Tiguan, Kia Seltos, MG Aster, Tata Harrier, and Kia Seltos, promising an exciting competition in the SUV market.
