New film with Attlee; Allu promised Rs 100 crore?
Allu Arjun has become the most valuable star in India with the huge success of ‘Pushpa’. Apart from Telugu, the film was released in 5 languages including Malayalam and Tamil and broke many collection records.
The audience is waiting for the second part of Pushpa. According to reports, the director is teaming up with Attlee for the new film. It has been reported that Laika Productions has offered Allu Rs 100 crore for the film. But no final decision has been made yet.
The as yet untitled film is being produced by Laika Productions. Laika is a production house that has produced huge projects including Vijay’s Knife and Rajinikanth’s Enthiran 2.0.
Attlee is currently working on Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara’s Lion. The film is expected to release later this year or early next year.
Allu Arjun is currently part of multiple films. Pushpa- The Rule is an Allu Arjun film that is expected to release this year. Other projects include Icon with Venu Sriram and Revenge Drama with Koratsala Siva.
A.R. It has been reported that Allu Arjun will be teaming up with directors Murugadoss, Prashant Neelu and Boyapati Sreenu.
It was reported yesterday that the makers had turned down an offer of Rs 400 crore for Pushpa. The producers of the film turned down an offer of Rs 400 crore for the distribution of the second part of Pushpa.
Leading company Pushpa’s production company Maitri Movies has been approached for distribution across India. But even this huge offer has been turned down by the filmmakers.
The film was released on December 29 and was later released on Amazon. The film grossed Rs 300 crore globally in four weeks.
Another highlight was the arrival of Malayalam’s own Fahadh Fazil as the villain in the movie starring Allu Arjun. Samantha’s item dance was also celebrated in the movie starring Rashmika Mandana.
The film was released in five languages including Malayalam and Tamil. The first part of the two-part film is called Pushpa the Rise.
