RTL confirms corresponding rumors: Marco Schreyl’s contract with the morning magazines will not be extended.

Marco Schreyl’s (49) contract with “Point 6/7/8” expires at the end of the year. RTL confirmed this when asked by the news agency spot on news. The station had previously presented Jan Malte Andresen (51) as the new presenter of the morning magazines. The industry magazine “DWDL” was the first to reportthat the contract with Marco Schreyl will not be extended.

Jan Malte Andresen, who has previously primarily appeared as a radio presenter, will take up his duties on January 8, 2024. In addition to the new addition, Vanessa Civiello, Simon Beeck (42), Daniel Fischer (45), Daniela Will and Annett Möller (45) will lead through the magazines “Point 6”, “Point 7” and “Point 8”.

Marco Schreyl: RTL face since 2005

Marco Schreyl came to RTL in 2005. Until 2012, he hosted “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” on the Cologne station and, between 2007 and 2011, “Das Supertalent”. In 2022 he returned to “DSDS”. In 2020, his talk show named after him flopped and was canceled after a short time.

In 2021, Schreyl joined the RTL morning magazine “Guten Morgen Deutschland”, which produced “Point 6”, “Point 7” and “Point 8” in 2022.
