Asterix and Obelix They return in this adventure as Beat’em Up by the hand of Mr. Nutz Studio. This French video game development studio. The name of the studio is curious since it will remind the oldest of us in the place of the legendary Super Nintendo game Mr. Nutz. And the study owes its name to the 1994 title, Mr. Useful. And the founder of the studio was one of the creators of the title, Philippe Dessoly.

Asterix has a more agile and dynamic fighting style where his normal and special abilities focus on speed. Obelix, on the other hand, has a special ability, throwing menhirs of course, which will make everything end upside down.
Both characters also have the option to grab their enemies and relentlessly throw or slap them in the air. Each character has a life bar, if this runs out, we will automatically switch to the other character. When they both die the level will end for us.
In addition, each one has an energy bar. This fills as we kill Roman legionaries. Once full, we can use it to launch the special ability or to become super warriors for a short period of time.
Minibosses and final bosses.
Most areas have a final boss. They are usually quite easy to defeat and their mechanics do not elaborate anything complex. If you arrive with a full energy bar, the fight will last a few seconds.
And this is something that has happened to us a lot. The game is overly simple. At the normal difficulty level it is a military tour, if we raise the difficulty to the maximum level, it will be somewhat more complicated, but the game also becomes more tedious and repetitive by having enemies with more life, but with similar performance in terms of artificial intelligence.

Graphically, the game is not a marvel, but the drawings and animations look carefully and meticulously created under the good seal of quality that has always defined everything related to the world of Asterix and Obelix.
