Former student of the Interpretation for Film and TV course, Leticia Rudramakes up the cast of the film Under Concretedirected by Gabriel Machado de Araújo, which will be shown on 15th edition of Cinefantasy next Tuesday, December 5th, at 8pm, at Cine Bijou.
Sob Concreto is a work that delves into a fictional Brasília of the 20th century, exploring an alternative timeline in which the coup of 64 did not occur as in known history. The plot unfolds around the engineer Heitor who, upon entering political life, finds himself confronted with the military threat. However, his past in the construction of Brasília comes back to haunt him.
In an interview, Leticia shared her experience at AIC and the impact of what she learned in this work: “It was a course that made me evolve as an actress in many ways. I learned more about the market, I understood my role as an actress and performer better, and I met incredible people that I will cherish for life. Now, I’m at a film festival. AIC opened doors for me, and I hope it opens doors for other incredible actors. Seeing my colleagues growing up alongside me shows how much we are all capable of dreaming!”
Cinefantasy
This year Cinefantasy, the pioneering Fantastic Cinema festival in Brazil, presents a selection of 110 films from 20 countries, celebrating diversity and innovation in the fantastic genre. The event takes place from December 2nd to 9th, in a hybrid format, at the MIS — Museu da Imagem e do Som, at Cine Satyros Bijou, and online through the SPCine Play platform, with free entry.
The 15th edition of Cinefantasy pays tribute to the producer Rodrigo Teixeira, from RT Features, one of the biggest names in Brazilian cinema. Maintaining its tradition of being an inclusive space, Cinefantasy continues with its affirming exhibitions, such as Fantastic Women, Fantastic Black Power, Fantastic Diversity and more.
