The Untied Virgin and Pope Francis

It should be noted that in recent years, the main promoter of devotion to the Virgin Untied Nudos has been Pope Francis, who counts her among his favorite Marian devotions.

The former auxiliary bishop of Buenos Aires, Mons. Jorge Mario Bergoglio, now Pope Francis, brought the devotion of the Untied Virgin from Germany to Argentina. On December 8, 1996, the San José del Talar parish in Agronomía, Buenos Aires, received a copy of the original image, painted by Dr. Ana Betta de Berti. Since then thousands of pilgrims come to said parish with the purpose of venerating the image and asking for his intercession.
