‘Bro Daddy’ directed by Prithviraj is all set to release tomorrow. Everyone is excited as Mohanlal is the hero in Prithviraj’s new movie too. Prithviraj will also be seen in a full-fledged role in Bro Daddy. Prithviraj has shared a post with ‘Bro Daddy’ ahead of its release.
I accidentally became a director. I wanted to do my own film but it happened because Murali Gopi thought I should direct ‘Lucifer’. Trust me. Bibi and Sreejith, the screenwriters of ‘Bro Daddy’, came to me through Vivek Ramadevan. I still do not know why they thought I was suitable for the movie. But I’m glad they thought so. The movie ‘Bro Daddy’ is very different from ‘Lucifer’. Therefore, to make such a film, one has to change one’s mind completely. This is an exciting risk. I did it. I am forever indebted to the lieutenant for believing in me. Antony Perumbavoor stood by him. Thanks to everyone, technicians, assistants and friends. Prithviraj says that he is thankful that the best actors also stood by him. Prithviraj says that when you see a lot of jokes in the shooting of ‘Bro Daddy’, I hope you can experience it too.
The movie is being produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. When Prithviraj announced the film, he had said that ‘Bro Daddy’ is a fun-family drama. Sreejith En and Bibin George are scripting the movie. It was clear from the trailer that the film was important for comedy.
The movie will be released on January 26 via Disney Plus Hotstar. The film stars Meena, Lalu Alex, Murali Gopi, Kaniha and Kalyani Priyadarshan among others. Kalyani Priyadarshan will play Prithviraj’s heroine in the movie Meena opposite Mohanlal. The audiography of ‘Bro Daddy’ is by MR Rajakrishnan.
