DIRECT. War in Gaza: Israel thanks the United States for its veto on a resolution on a ceasefire

Israel continues its bombings and its offensive in Gaza, particularly in Khan Younes, in the south of the Palestinian enclave. The United States defeated a resolution calling for an “immediate humanitarian ceasefire”, which had the consent of 13 of the 15 members of the UN Security Council.
