BDA holds athletics and cycling awards to celebrate anniversary

News from Angola – The Development Bank of Angola (BDA) is holding, this Saturday, in Luanda, a grand prize for athletics and cycling, as part of its social responsibility actions, aiming to promote the passion for sports.

According to a note that Notícias de Angola had access to today, the tournament will be played in just one day, with the start and end scheduled for in front of the Mausoléu Doutor António Agostinho Neto, on a 5.67 kilometer route.

Held in reference to the seventeenth anniversary of the institution, celebrated this month, the report highlights the award of 12 prizes in total, distributed in four categories to be competed for in men and women, in the Paralympic and general categories.

According to the BDA’s executive administrator, Arsénio Satyohamba, the objective of the activity is also to make people take care of their health and well-being and create healthy habits that contribute to quality of life.

The Event, which is in its second edition, is open to lovers of both sports and the general public, as long as they are in good health, with no medical restrictions for walking, running or other sporting activities.
