Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin Provides Relief Aid to Rain Affected People in Chennai

Chennai- Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin provided relief aid to the rain affected people in Chintadirippet, Chennai. After this, he met the reporters and expressed his concern about the insufficient funds allotted by the central government for flood relief. He demanded that the central government immediately provide an interim relief of Rs. 5,060 crore as requested by the Tamil Nadu government.

Stalin also called upon the leader of the opposition, Edappadi Palaniswami, urging him to speak to the union government and secure the necessary funds for the relief efforts.

Additionally, he announced that flood relief for storm affected people will be in the form of Rs. 6000 issued tokens starting from the 16th. He assured that the compensation amount will be fully disbursed within ten days, providing much-needed relief to the affected individuals.

The minister’s proactive stance in addressing the needs of the rain affected people in Chennai has garnered attention and is seen as a crucial step in assisting those affected by the recent natural calamity.
