This is how the “international gangs” of “rapinarolex” move. Gangs of “criminal travellers” who take action no longer only in Italy, but outside national borders. They choose places with a tourist vocation where valuable watches are worn without particular caution: in Spain Ibiza and the other Balearic islands, Mykonos in Greece, the French Riviera, Switzerland, but also capitals such as Vienna, where two forty-year-old Neapolitans, last month August, they had followed an entrepreneur from a restaurant in the center to his home and then snatched a watch worth around 120 thousand euros from him. The two were arrested a couple of months later, at the end of an investigation conducted by the Austrian authorities with the Neapolitan police.
The Naples flying squad, explains the manager, Alfredo Fabbrocini, «has created a database, fed by data also coming from other offices, into which the data of subjects who have specific precedents or are suspected, due to frequent relationships or kinship, are inserted. , to gravitate into the orbit of the “pararanze”.
