MADRID, 10 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A coast guard unit of the Royal Moroccan Navy intercepted a boat carrying 42 sub-Saharan migrants about 16 kilometers southwest of Dakhla, in Western Sahara, on Saturday.
The General Command of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces has indicated that the ship left the coast of Mauritania on December 6 and its final destination was the Canary Islands.
The migrants have received emergency care and then have been transferred to Dakhla and handed over to the Gendarmerie, according to Moroccan television 2M.
