The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has called the popular leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, to propose three dates “in order to fit agendas and formalize a meeting between the two before the end of the year, two before Christmas and one before the end of year”.
Sánchez’s intention is to meet with the opposition leader before the end of this year 2023, as he advanced in the circles of Congress after the official acts for Constitution Day.
For his part, Feijóo, who already confirmed that he would attend this meeting, demands that Sánchez detail “in writing” what the agenda will be.
Feijóo will help out of “institutional sense”
From the Popular Party they assure that their leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will attend that meeting with Sánchez out of “institutional sense.”
The main points to be discussed in the meeting between both leaders will be regional financing and unblocking the renewal of the CGPJ (General Council of the Judiciary).
