Around 80 representatives from companies, technology centres, clusters, universities and agents linked to the field of mobility participated this Monday in the meeting ‘Re-imagining mobility, unlocking open data in Gipuzkoa’, in which they analyzed the potential of the ‘big data’, both from a quantitative and qualitative point of view, to develop improvement projects in the field of mobility in the territory. The day was framed in the deployment of ‘City Science Lab Gipuzkoa’, the collaborative project carried out by the Provincial Council, the Mubil Foundation, Tecnun and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), to “make Gipuzkoa an innovation laboratory for the development of mobility projects,” as explained by regional sources. During the day, different projects were presented such as new tools for the development of mobility and public transport policies, new urban communities, ‘big data’, or light autonomous vehicles.
