Problems in selling tickets resulted in a punishment of more than R$600,000 for the company

O Procon of the State of São Paulo (Procon-SP) fined the Time For Fun (T4F), the company responsible for bringing the show to Taylor Swift for Brazil, R$626,470.87 for non-compliance with a series of measures. The penalty was also applied due to problems in the sale of tickets for the 2020 and 2023 editions of the Lollapalooza, a festival that is also organized by T4F. The consumer protection agency points out irregularities in the virtual queue, problems with half price and non-refund of the convenience fee charged in case of cancellation of the show. The punishment was based on responses obtained through requests for clarification from Procon-SP to the company, through analysis of material available on the company’s website; in consumer complaints to the defense agency and in journalistic articles published in media outlets. The company can still appeal the fine and must present a defense.
