This past Wednesday, more than 300 people attended the preview of the documentary in Madrid. ‘Martinator, iron will’ produced by DAZN, an event that was presented by the journalist Izaskun Ruiz and in which Jorge Martín was accompanied by his most unconditional fans, friends and family, as well as great sports figures such as José María Gutiérrez ‘Guti’, Fonsi Nieto, Jonathan ‘Maravilla’ Alonso and Jennifer Miranda, and personalities from the world of entertainment and social networks.
With protagonists who go from his parents Ángel and Susana, to great drivers like Jorge Lorenzo or Aleix Espargaró, Motorcycling lovers can now discover the man from Madrid from a unique perspective and get to know the real Martín both on and off the track.
During the premiere of the new production, Jorge Martín acknowledged that “Today is a day that I am very grateful for and that I will never forget. Watching the DAZN documentary I reflect on my path and I feel full of pride. I never imagined I would come to a place like this. “I am excited to see the reflection of not only my journey in the world of MotoGP, but also the incredible path from my humble roots to becoming second in the world in this sport.”
‘Martinator, will of iron’ revives not only the story of improvement that Jorge’s family experienced when his parents became unemployed and did not have the resources so he could continue competing, but also the hardest moments of his career both physically and mentally. Martín acknowledges that, by far, the most difficult of all of them was Portimão 2021 and the fall in which he broke eight bones: “I had a very bad time, it was a pain that I wouldn’t wish on anyone and I thought about leaving.”
Aleix Espargaróone of Martín’s best friends within the World Cup and with whom he shares a representative, Albert Valera, highlights the origin of their relationship that “My representative is like he was my older brother and, since he took him and started helping him, for me he was like a little brother. “Being able to see him grow, help him, train with him, be a bit of Jorge’s dad… I did it from the bottom of my heart.”.
In his early days, Martín had the opportunity to train with Jorge Lorenzo and his father, Chicho Lorenzo, a moment that is relived in the documentary. The three-time MotoGP World Champion acknowledges about Martinator thate “He is a very good kid, very normal and natural, a boy who likes to have fun. And as a pilot I’m not going to find out, it’s super explosive. What caught my attention the most was his ease in making a perfect lap, an explosive lap. I think that’s his greatest quality and it shows that he has a natural talent.”
During the presentation of the documentary, the PRAMAC Racing driver also made a revelation; Martín confirmed the rumor that he had been sounding strongly shortly before the end of the season in Valencia and that placed him as a possible partner of Pecco Bagnaia already in 2024 if the man from Madrid managed to snatch the title from the Turin player in the final event in Cheste, a goal that he ultimately did not achieve and that will force him to remain in PRAMAC Racing for at least one more season.

On this matter, asked directly about a possible exchange of stickers between him and Enea Bastianini if he had become champion in Valencia, Jorge responded as follows: “I don’t know if I can say this, but on Sunday in Valencia I already had two black suits ready in case I got on the other bike on Monday. But hey, it didn’t come out, and I don’t care. I have been very close runner-up to Pecco, and I have done it with PRAMAC, so I am proud to continue.
