The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, and the Commissioner of Rav Gondar Prisons, Cathy Perry, announced today (Thursday) that they agreed to provide grants to prison guards and new recruits in 2023-2024. According to the agreement, a new warden who enlists will receive a grant of NIS 70,000.

As part of the agreement, drawn up under the leadership of the Organization, Planning, Budgeting and Control Division of the Ministry of National Security in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Human Resources Division together with the Planning Division of the Prison Service, thousands of prison guards will receive recruitment grants, unique retention grants, excellence grants and other unique grants.
