Tidy accounts in Group G. Slavia Praha beat Servette 4-0 and took first place, while Mourinho’s AS Roma limited themselves to second place and play-off of the Europa League.

The Czechs entered the field showing a true desire to win and left the result completely tidy in the first half. Doudera opened the scoring after the first quarter of an hour, after Jurecka’s pass, and, from then on, the result only increased.

Servette did not demonstrate great offensive arguments to respond to the home team and conceded two more goals in five minutes. Schranz and Chytil scored the goals, with the latter scoring twice and sealing the result just before half-time.

The rest of the match became just ball management for 45 minutes, as Slavia Praha’s objective was completed because, even with AS Roma’s simultaneous victory, nothing would change and they would take first place in the group.

Mourinho’s men, deep down, did what they had to do, which was just win. This happened against Sheriff, with three goals scored without any response.

It took just over ten minutes for Romelu Lukaku to open the scoring and, after the first half hour, Andrea Belotti followed suit.

With total Italian power throughout the duel, Niccolò Pisilli made his debut in the main team this season – after having already played minutes last season – and the young man even managed to score the last goal of the match in one of the last plays of the match, after an assist by Lukaku.

Thus, AS Roma could become an opposing team to Benfica or SC Braga in the play-off access to the round of 16 of the Europa League.
