‘Lights in nature – Life’ is a suggestive immersive experience that invites visitors to explore a secret garden in the heart of Rome, at the Brancaccio Gardens, through lights and sounds that reinvent the magic of Christmas. Young and old will be able to experience a nocturnal adventure full of incredible projections and spectacular plays of light that celebrate the harmony between man and nature and represent life on Planet Earth through its four elements: water, air, fire and earth . A journey that will be a journey of beauty, but also of awareness towards a necessary environmental sustainability in the historic center of Rome.

The event is one of the chapters of the Naturaleza Encendida project, born in Spain and which since its creation in November 2020 in the Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid, has stopped in several European cities, welcoming over 1 million people from all over the world. Naturaleza Encendida is a concept developed by Madrid-based show production company Letsgo Company which has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to innovation and sustainability in the field of light shows. There are several light shows offered by the Naturaleza Encendida project simultaneously open to the public: Origen in Barcelona, Explorium in Tenerife, Insectos in Madrid, Itsasaldi in Bilbao and the recent Dalì Universe inaugurated last November 15th with great success in Paris.

Each park offers magical night walks in different natural environments where the visitor becomes the protagonist and is invited to discover a rich biodiversity in light shows full of surprises and suitable for every age group. Now, LetsGo Company and the Italian partner Show Bees, by Marzia Ginocchio and Gianmario Longoni, are pleased to bring ‘Lights in nature – life’ to the Capital, offering all visitors a sensorial experience that will make Christmas even more magical and which will continue to illuminate the Roman nights until the gates of spring.

Lights in nature – life in Rome in the Brancaccio Gardens will guide visitors through four thematic areas: 1) Biosphere. The visitor will enter a zone full of hope, where they are reminded that not all is lost. If everyone commits immediately, there is still time to improve the planet for all the beings who inhabit it. 2) Earth. Continuing the journey, the visitor will realize that he has suddenly arrived on dry land and has magically become as small as an insect which he will therefore be able to see at human size. He will discover how useful dung beetles are for the soil and for the distribution of seeds, he will be able to perceive wild animals hidden in the vegetation by seeing their eyes glow in the dark, or accompany the 35 fire ants in their anthill. You will observe the land, once humid and fertile, turning red and orange in the flames of the fires that devastate flora and fauna and transform an environment rich in life into a desolate land that only decades will bring to its original luxuriance.

3) Water. An area that becomes a fantastic seabed: the trees are transformed into a coral reef and, while walking, the visitor will be immersed in a surreal world inhabited by a 6 meter whale, schools of hundreds of fish, jellyfish, but also a bit of waste, which unfortunately is now part of this panorama. There will be the sound of waves, bubbles and lots of enveloping music. 4) Air. You will enter the world of air that will make the minds of visitors fly and they will be able to enjoy the symphony of birds, flying high in the sky thanks to the magic of dragonflies which, however, can only survive in environments not contaminated by environmental pollution. The more traditional images, such as the stork that brings children into the world, are combined with the more eco-sustainable/eco-conscious images of a world that must be cared for in order to grow healthy, far from the pollution that lurks in the air like a vulture.
