The most important cultural event in the nation, the International Book Fair, will take place between February 15 and 25 of next year on the grounds of the San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress, in Havana.
As we are already accustomed to, the book management in the province of Artemisa will present, through its publishing house Unicornio, a group of works of various genres, which can be acquired by the public visiting this fairground full of the most diverse options.
For this opportunity, Unicornio will present three novels: Traces of time in Paradiseby Ana Núñez Machín; The biteby Elena Milián Salaberri, and When the cemies cryby Mario Reinaldo Martínez Delgado, along with five story books The juicy taste of meatby Olga Montes Barrios; Never moreby Juan Manuel Méndez Pérez; Issues personalby Gilda Guimeras and Dissonant livesby Humberto Casals, and Seven days without Yrlaby Reinier del Pino, belonging to the science fiction genre.
Two collections of poems add to this list of options: The faults of the minotaurby Miguel Ángel Ortega, and While the coffee is coolingby José Eduardo Vázquez, with a striking proposal of literature for children: cruel stories, of Pedro Bernabé Lorenzo, the testimony With the booksellers of Cubaby the Colombian Álvaro Castillo Granada and the anthology of theatrical pieces Contemporary Colombian dramaturgywith selection and prologue by Juan José Jordán.
In these cases, the possibility of readers being able to acquire them in digital format is promoted, since the possibility of printing in the usual paper format has been considerably affected by the difficult economic situation that Cuba is currently going through.
