A solar storm is heading towards Earth at a high speed and is expected to hit on December 17, scientists have warned. These clouds can collide with the Earth’s magnetic field, causing geomagnetic problems. The impact of the storm could disrupt GPS navigation, mobile phone signals, satellite TV, and even increase the current in power lines.
