The Restalia group continues unstoppable in its growth outside our borders. Its leadership as the most international Spanish multinational organized restaurant business is becoming stronger every day and is now confirmed with the opening of its first restaurant in the city of Amsterdam. With this opening, the company materializes its Capitals of the World project, which aims to increase its presence in more than 40 large cities around the planet, in 20 of which it is currently operating, both on the European continent, as well as Latin America and the United States. .

Europe is the priority market in this first stage of the project. The new location of 100 Montaditos “Sevilla Tapas” (the commercial name that the brand acquires outside our borders) is located on the central street Amstelstraat 7 in Amsterdam. It is a tourist area with heavy local traffic, ideal for developing commercial restaurants and, in this case, it does so with a Spanish themed restaurant like 100 Montaditos, a national brand that meets the operational, development and product standards suitable for promote its global expansion.

After Amsterdam, it will be the turn of other important European capitals such as Prague, Warsaw and Dublin, on whose implementation the company has been working for some time. Other cities such as Berlin are also among the company’s priority markets, and their development will be addressed shortly.

The objective is to replicate the successful model that the company has in Portugal, a country in which it already has more than 50 units with its five brands already operational and where it is working with the objective of doubling its presence in 2025. Such is the relevance that Restalia places in its growth outside our borders, which foresees that its international market will represent at least 30% of its total portfolio in the coming years.

With this international expansion project, Restalia reinforces its position as the organized restaurant company that most enhances the Spain brand outside our borders. And it does so not only because it is the Spanish multinational in its sector with the most international presence, but it leads this growth with a purely Spanish thematic concept that is unique in the world.

Every time a new 100 Montaditos “Sevilla Tapas” restaurant opens internationally, it becomes a kind of “embassy”, becoming a space for authentic meetings of Spaniards and locals, where they can enjoy Spanish gastronomy and our way of understanding gastronomic leisure.

Restalia is taking giant steps in achieving the international expansion goal set for the year 2026. By that date, the company wants to double its presence outside our country and reach 200 units abroad.
