It’s a trailer that many have been waiting for. TF1 broadcast, during the advertising screens for the Miss France 2024 election, this Saturday, the first trailer for “Plus belle la vie”. The soap opera, historically broadcast on France 3, is due to return at the very beginning of the year on the first channel.

About fifty seconds, the teaser shows the city of Marseille and the actors returning to the largely redesigned Place du Mistral (the historic setting was destroyed at the end of the series, the Mistral bar is now located in the small village of Allauch).

In the images of this trailer, we see Thomas Marci (played by Laurent Kérusoré), Ariane Hersant (Lola Marois), Luna Torres (Anne Décis), Barbara Évenot (Léa François) and Jean-Paul Boher (Stéphane Hénon) , but also characters that viewers have never seen before.

A new name for the series

TF1 also discreetly confirms the new name of the series. As Le Parisien had already revealed, “Plus belle la vie” will in fact be called “Plus belle la vie, even plus belle”. The series will be broadcast from January 8 on the first channel. Change compared to its broadcast on France 3: the episodes will be broadcast in the middle of the day, after the 1 p.m. news.

Filming resumed in October. A little less than a year earlier, on November 18, 2022, France 3 had broadcast what was to be the very last episode of the series, facing a drop in audiences. After long months of mysteries, TF1 announced that it was resuming the series. “We have 99.95% new sets,” the production indicated at the end of October.
