Russian Evgenia Burtasova won the 15 km individual race at the European Biathlon Championships in Arber.

Burtasova didn’t miss a single shot on four firing lines and finished in 44 minutes 22.9 seconds. The second was Alina Stremous from Moldova, who, despite one penalty and a penalty minute, was able to get on the podium thanks to her good speed on the track. Her backlog was only 12.1 seconds. “Bronze” was won by another Russian woman Natalya Gerbulova, who also shot accurately (+16.4). One step away from the podium, Victoria Slivko stopped (+21.7; 1 penalty minute).

Recall that earlier Anton Babikov won the silver medal of the European Championship in the individual race for 20 km. In addition, he became the owner of the “Small Crystal Globe” in the standings of this discipline in the IBU Cup.

Both Burtasova and Babikov were not included in the main team of Russia for the Olympics. They are spare.
