“Receiving an Oscar means I have something good, I’m happy”

“It is always very pleasant to receive awards, especially in the home of Italian sport: at CONI. Receiving this sports Oscar means that I have done something good and I am super happy. The recognition of the film was unimaginable, it left me stunned to be broadcast on Raiuno with the story of my life”. The Italian fencer, Paolo Pizzo, said this on the sidelines of the annual Sports Oscars event “Asi Sport&Cultura” which was held yesterday in Rome where he collected the Media award.

“I have an oncological background. I often go to hospitals and schools, you definitely have to raise your head and always fight,” concluded Pizzo.
