Rafael Mollmusic producer and programmer who worked with artists such as Jaume Sisa, Joan Manuel Serrat, Family y Cat Prez, has died, according to the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM) in a message on X this Saturday. Moll died in Barcelona, ​​at the age of 72, after a “quick illness”, according to La Vanguardia.

The INAEM has claimed Moll as a reference in record production who “contributed significantly to the development” of the Spanish music industry, also for his work in the Zeleste room from Barcelona.

The Secretary of State for Culture of the Government, George Marthas also remembered him via X as someone “so important for the Barcelona and Catalan music scene” and has assured that he deserves a tribute and a Gold Medal from the city.
