Tragic Crash Leaves One Dead, Two Injured on Route 16 in Pinkham’s Grant

A devastating crash on Route 16 in Pinkham’s Grant, New Hampshire has left one person dead and two others seriously injured, according to New Hampshire State Police. The incident occurred on Sunday around 11:30 a.m. and resulted in the closure of a section of the road in the area of mile 98.2.

According to police, a man driving an Errol Fire Department pickup truck collided with another pickup traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Errol Fire Department truck sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the other truck suffered life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital. Tragically, the passenger of the second truck, identified as Linda Gauthier, 54, of Gorham, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the crash, Route 16 was closed, but as of 1:50 p.m., the road had been reopened to traffic. State police have announced that the investigation into the crash is ongoing and are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact authorities.
