After the dramatic fire which caused the death of three people aged 65 to 73 on November 25 in Stains, the town is once again in mourning.
The firefighters were called early in the morning around 8:30 a.m. for an apartment fire that occurred on the 1st floor of this building which has four floors. According to a police source, firefighters “evacuated the inanimate body of a woman in cardiorespiratory arrest covered in soot”. Emergency services were unable to resuscitate the victim, whose age was not communicated.

Residents of the building were evacuated to the Jean-Guimier municipal gymnasium. “The Seine-Saint-Denis Habitat teams are mobilized to support and accompany families who cannot access their housing,” underlined Azzédine Taïbi, in his press release. “An investigation is underway to determine the origin of the fire,” he said.
