The residents of the village of Agioi Isidoori in Rhodes have reached their limits, as the farmers in the area complain that they let the goats run free and eat the crops.
As the vice-president of the community Panagiotis Konstandakis said to SKAI and on the show “Dekatians”, with Yiannis Pittaras and Giorgos Grigoriadis, “we are facing a very serious problem. Due to the amphitheater where the village is built, the goats go from roof to roof, enter the courtyards. They have left nothing.”
“We have pointed it out, we have told the breeders and not only has nothing been done, but they have become even more provocative. We have made several complaints to the Municipality and the Prosecutor’s Office, but we have not seen any result. We have turned the houses into castles, we even put bars on the roofs,” he added.
