Under the banner of Essa Entertainments, a poster titled ‘Production Number One’, a new film produced by Mohammad Kutty and directed by newcomer Arun Sivavilasam, has been released. Activists said the title poster would be released soon. The film stars Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role. Indrans and Shalu Rahim also play the lead roles. Faisal Ali, who has shot for Ordinary, Shikari Shambhu, Madhura Naranga and My Santa, will be shooting for the film and KJ Vinayan, who has co-directed big films like Maamangkam, will be the Chief Associate Director.
Essa Group is a reputed business entrepreneur in Kerala. The film, now known as ‘Essa Entertainments’, is a new step towards the cinema of the Essa Group of Companies, which currently dominates hotels, resorts, service stations, football teams and the export business. He is also in the process of making a number of films in the coming months. Although director Arun Sivavilasam is a newcomer to the film industry, he is also interested in directing and writing.
