After the lynching of police officers who were traveling in a cell phone in the a-Tour neighborhood in East Jerusalem, the terrorists continue to attack our forces and throw stones at them throughout Jerusalem.
So far this evening, police in East Jerusalem have arrested 22 Arabs on suspicion of involvement in riots, violent riots and throwing stones and objects at police forces and civilians.
One of the suspects was arrested after throwing stones at the light rail in the north of the city, and another suspect, after throwing a stone at a policewoman who was injured but did not need medical attention. Additional suspects were also arrested for violating the violent order in A-Tour. The place where some of them were caught – closed and its owner will be summoned for a hearing.
Police forces in the area have also been stepped up to maintain public order in the various centers in the east of the city.
