As you may recall, the Rishon Lezion Municipality operates many programs for Holocaust survivors, including a unique hotline composed of volunteers, some of whom are also Holocaust survivors, who give a sympathetic ear; The Perach Survivor Project, which provides a basket of services to survivors, meets their needs and strengthens their sense of belonging to the city. In addition, the Social Integration Administration employs many volunteers who maintain contact with the survivors, including a resident patrol Volunteers also run a hotline, in which they regularly call Holocaust survivors, ask for their well-being and make relevant community services and social conferences accessible to them. In addition, the program initiates and organizes a number of free Holocaust survivor events.
