For many games with an online multiplayer focus, these will be their last months of life.
As the number of games that rely on online connectivity to function fully increases, an increasing number of them inevitably have an “expiration date” attached to them. Well, today We know dates for quite a few of these games that will close their servers in 2024.
Not all of them will be completely unplayable after their servers close (many also have single-player modes), but games like Ubisoft’s The Crew won’t work at all beyond their closing date. It’s a shame, but that’s how things are.
In the words of Ubisoft: “The game will remain playable until March 31, 2024 for all owners of The Crew 1. After this date, the servers will be shut down, meaning the game will no longer be accessible on any platform…”

Gun Media’s online horror title It will stop being on the list on December 31 of this yearand online servers can be used until “at least” December 31, 2024.
