Eyal Golan’s name was also mentioned positively and negatively. “The one and only Eyal Golan knows how to make happy, and that’s what we need in independence,” one responded, while another replied simply: “Just not Eyal Golan.”
Meanwhile, residents suggested that the city captains would do well to give the stage to local bands and singers. “Say enough to the unnecessary waste of money,” wrote one resident and another added: “that the money will go to the elderly who can not heat the house in this cold.”
And who came in first place in Rosh HaAyin?
The singer Hanan Ben Ari drew the most votes, the singer Yishai Ribo came in second, and Statik and Ben El, Eden Hasson and Itai Levy shared the third, fourth and fifth places together.
However, the answer that should be of particular interest to the municipality’s breadwinners is the preference of many residents to give up the huge expense and invest their money in urban infrastructure, the needy and the elderly, rather than in shows in honor of Independence Day.
