In the Rostov region, a man who killed a drinking companion with a stool will go on trial. The incident happened in November 2021.
According to investigators, that day the accused Stanislav Dolgov, together with a friend, were in the village of Nizhnekundryuchenskaya, Ust-Donetsk region. They decided to drink alcohol. After a few drinks, a conflict ensued between the friends, which turned into a tragedy. In a fit of anger, Dolgov grabbed a wooden stool and began to beat the offender. He died on the spot from multiple injuries.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Ust-Donetsk region, a criminal case has been opened against the man, which has already been sent to the court for consideration. If found guilty, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
