At the Gitega commando center, the spokesperson for the FDNB, Colonel Floribert Biyereke indicated that there are 822 candidates registered at the national level, including 73 candidates from the Gitega province.
Colonel Floribert announced that these candidates are those who took the intellectual test a week ago. After this stage, we will be able to display the results in the provincial capital and aggrieved candidates will be able to appeal, he said.
The FDNB spokesperson explained that the recruitment process within the FDNB is done in three stages. According to him, there is first the recruitment process which concerns officer candidates, secondly; the process which concerns non-commissioned officer candidates and recently; that which concerns rank-and-file military candidates.
As Colonel Floribert Biyereke clarified, today, they are at the level of registrations of candidates who wish to enter the category of non-commissioned officers and the category of non-commissioned officers. This is a registration that has just passed two weeks and we still have a period of two weeks to be able to complete this registration process, insisted the spokesperson for the FDNB, Colonel Floribert Biyereke.
The spokesperson for the Burundi National Defense Force then recalled that the registration of non-commissioned officers and non-commissioned soldiers continues at the capital of all the provinces of the country. He called on all young people who wish to benefit from this advantage of being a member of the FDNB to come and register en masse.
