Ashirwad Cinemas Production Company, one of the leading banners in the world of Malayalam cinema, is in its 22nd year. Ashirwad Cinemas, owned by Anthony Perumbavoor, has already grown into an indispensable production company in Malayalam. Anthony Perumbavoor and his team are now celebrating the 22nd year of its existence with Mohanlal by cutting a cake.

The celebration was on the set of Mohanlal’s directorial debut ‘Burrows – Guardian of Gamas Treasure’. Cutting the cake, Mohanlal said that he would like to express his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been with the company and with them for so long since ‘Narasimham’. Mohanlal had a full beard and a beard. Cinematographer and director Santosh Sivan and director TK Rajeev Kumar were also present with Mohanlal and Antony.


Ashirwad Cinemas was started in the year 2000 by Mohanlal’s Sarathi Antony Perumbavoor. The first movie ‘Narasimham’ itself became one of the biggest hits in Malayalam. The latest blockbuster product to hit the screens is ‘Bro Daddy’. Elon, 12th Man, Monster, Burrows and Empuran are the next films to be directed by Ashirwad.
