Despite the hopeful news we received a few months ago and the Canadian singer’s efforts to do her rehabilitation exercises daily, Céline Dion’s health is rapidly deteriorating, according to her sister Claudette.
“She was diagnosed with rigid person syndrome in 2019, a fact that finally forced her to cancel her concerts in 2021, in addition to her residency in Las Vegas,” explains Tatiana Arús. “Despite Céline’s attempts to improve, her muscles do not respond. This disease causes muscle spasms and stiffness,” adds the collaborator.
The vocal cords are also being affected by this neurological disease and “they are causing many problems for him to be able to sing.”
