News from Angola – The Angolan Government announced this Thursday the country’s withdrawal from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
According to Jornal de Angola On-line, the information was released today by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, on the sidelines of the 10th Ordinary Meeting of the Council of Ministers, Ordinary of the Council of Ministers, which is taking place, until now, under the guidance of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries is an international body that manages matters related to global petroleum policy.
