On April 21st, the Puducherry branch of Central Bank of India celebrated its 113th anniversary with much fanfare. The founder of the bank, Sarobji Pochkanwala, started this esteemed banking service on the same day in 1911.
To mark this momentous occasion, bank officials and employees paid their respects to the portrait of the esteemed founder before cutting a cake and celebrating the 113th anniversary.
Chief Manager of the Trichy Zone, Ashwin Kumar, presided over the celebration and took the opportunity to congratulate the bank account holders, employees and their families. Puducherry Branch Manager Shasang Shekhar and Assistant Manager Latha also played an integral part in organizing the event.
The celebration was attended by several esteemed guests including Vijayan Babu, the jeweler appraiser, as well as bank staff and Trichy Zonal office staff.
Cashier Annadurai expressed his gratitude to all those who attended the event and helped to make the celebration a resounding success.
